Humanity: Hour I is the sixteenth studio album by German hard rock band, Scorpions. "The Cross" features vocal contributions from Billy Corgan.
Humanity: Hour I generally received very good reviews. AllMusic called it a "perfect balance between nu metal guitar crunch and '80s heavy metal melodies" and lists "The Cross" as one of the suggested tracks.[1]
Background
Corgan has expressed his fandom of Scorpions, particularly the song "Dark Lady" which he said influenced "Tarantula" off of Zeitgeist.[2] In fact, Humanity: Hour I was recorded at roughly the same time as Zeitgeist, both at The Village Recorder, and this is possibly how the collaboration came to be.
