The April 13 to May 30, 2020 Pumpkinland II sessions were for the third volume in the Shiny and Oh So Bright series: Zodeon at Crystal Hall. At least 14 songs were recorded.

Background

Demo sessions apparently happened during March 2020[1], while the main bulk of the sessions started in April 13, 2020 [2] during the COVID-19 lockdown and lasted until May 30, 2020 [3]. When asked about it in October of that year it was around 75% done [4] and by November it was set aside for 2021 due to work on ATUM starting to happen [5]. Minor additional work was done during 2021 to finish the songs.

Ten of the songs were released as bonus tracks on the ATUM Madame Zuzu's exclusive vinyl box set, spread across five 7-inch singles. Simmatar was first featured on the final episode of the Thirty-Three (podcast), where Corgan revealed the title for this album and that six of these bonus songs are from the actual album (which is eleven songs total) with the other four being b-sides.

It's still unknown when/if this album will ever be fully released, but Corgan was recently mentioned it will eventually get a release from Madame Zuzu's. [6]
