Sunset Sound (also known as Sunset Sound Recorders) is a recording studio in Hollywood, California. Apart from The Smashing Pumpkins, other artists that have recorded here include Prince (Purple Rain), The Rolling Stones (Exile on Main Street), The Beach Boys (Pet Sounds), among many others.
James Iha also performed here live on February 9, 1998 for the Rockline radio program.
