The Sun Sessions is the second EP from Sierra Swan, following the full-length albums Queen of the Valley (2008) and Girl Who Cried Wolf (2009). It is a cover album that was recorded in just two days at the famed Sun Studio in Memphis, featuring a number of guest musicians. Swan shared the production credit with her father, Billy Swan, in what was their first collaboration on an album.[1] The album was released on Sierra Swan's Bandcamp page on August 7, 2011 in digital download and compact disc formats.
