Dan Morris (March 27, 1970 – December 21, 2007[1]) was one of two touring percussionists during The Smashing Pumpkins' Adore tour that accompanied drummer Kenny Aronoff. According to a eulogy published on metaljazz.com, Morris found the stress of the world tour to be too much for him and he subsequently retried from the live music scene in favor of sound and music production. On December 21, 2007, he died after being in a coma for five days due to uncertain causes. He was 37 years old.[1]
