WikipediaMatt Sweeney

Matt Sweeney (born July 2, 1969) is an American guitarist, vocalist and producer best known known as a guitarist of Skunk, Chavez, and supergroup Zwan.[1]

Sweeney was the first member to join Zwan after Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin started the project in 2001. His previous band Skunk was praised by Corgan in the Pisces Iscariot liner notes while discussing "Frail and Bedazzled":

After joining Zwan, Sweeney recruited David Pajo to the band. He co-wrote "Mary Star of the Sea" with the rest of the band and sang on "The Number of the Beast", which was a B-side on the "Honestly" single and also appeared on the Spun soundtrack.
