This page documents an SPCodex guideline.

It is a generally accepted standard that editors should try to follow, but it's no big deal if you don't. If you need help or have questions, ask at the Pumpkin Patch.

The Smashing Pumpkins and only associated acts. Pumpkins personnel should have worked directly with the band, or have very close ties to them.
Documenting the music itself and the people behind it. We're here to talk about the music, and how personnel were involved with it. As cool as they may be, NWA, Chicago Cubs, etc., are out of scope.

This is better fit for software with a relational database, like [[SPFC]] or [https://setlist.fm setlist.fm]. If a particular show is especially notable it may warrant article. The rule of thumb is that you should have a lot more to say than just the setlist. Tours are always notable.
