Background
Corgan has expressed his fandom of Scorpions, particularly the song "Dark Lady" which he said influenced "Tarantula" off of Zeitgeist.[1] In fact, Humanity: Hour I was recorded at roughly the same time as Zeitgeist, both at The Village Recorder, and this is possibly how the collaboration came to be.
