Schroeder is of Korean and German descent. He has played guitar since at least age 12. At 18 he joined The Violet Burning, only to become a guitarist and a founding member of @TheLassieFound1 a few years later. He played guitar on 3 albums and toured with the band since 1996.

Schroeder's side project @nightdreamer with Mindy Song released their debut EP, Treasure, in late 2019, and Inner Oceans in 2020. In 2021, Schroeder released his debut single as a solo artist, "Haenim", and has also written several songs for @nwa events.
