Infobox template for live show pages.

Note that the |artist= parameter is for the actual band that played the show, and may not match the artist in the page title. For example, Billy Corgan 1996-01-17 represents a Pink Floyd show that Corgan guested at. The {{infobox live show}} template should have |artist=Pink Floyd and |featuring_artist=Billy Corgan.

Infobox for live performance pages.

Template parameters

This template has custom formatting.

ParameterDescriptionTypeStatus
Artistartist

Artist of interest that play at the show; always use "The Smashing Pumpkins", not "Smashing Pumpkins"; use "Billy Corgan" instead of "William Patrick Corgan" or "WPC"

Example
The Smashing Pumpkins
Unknownrequired
Featuring artistfeaturing_artist

Used when the show is for a band outside of scope that featured an in-scope artist. For example, the 'artist' could be "Pink Floyd" but the 'featuring_artist' could be "Billy Corgan".

Page namesuggested
Tourtour

This must match the page title of the corresponding tour page.

Page namesuggested
Date of the showdate

Any sensible format can be used

Daterequired
Venue namevenue

This should match the name of the venue at the time the band performed there. If this is an exact link (not a redirect) to a valid venue page (see Category:Venues for full list), the location, coordinates, capacity and venue type fields are automatically filled in. Override any values as needed (say if the venue was in a different location than it is presently).

Example
[[Metro]]
Page namesuggested
Venue suffixvenue_suffix

Not important to get this right. See https://spcodex.wiki/m/4sk for a list of unique venue types. Template:Venue_type will normalize some values. The venue type is automatically shown if the "venue" field is a direct link to a page in Category:Venues

Stringoptional
Venue capacitycapacity

Maximum capacity, at the time the band played the venue (sometimes capacity changes over time). This is automatically shown if the "venue" field is a direct link to a page in Category:Venues, please override if the auto-value is incorrect at the time the show took place.

Example
5000
Numberoptional
