William Corgan Sr. (1947 - December 18, 2021) was a blues guitarist and father to Billy Corgan. In 1988, his home on Eddy Street is where the first Smashing Pumpkins recording sessions took place. He played the guitar solo in "The Last Song" from the "Thirty-Three" single in 1996, and has performed alongside Corgan at several shows since 1999.
