Banter[edit | edit source]

Hummer
Shame
BC: Hi. Hello. Welcome to my castle.
Tonight, Tonight
Home
Glass and the Ghost Children
The Crying Tree of Mercury (Billy solo piano)
BC: Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you.
Crush (Billy piano w/Jimmy)
BC: That's when you realize it didn't have air conditioning in a castle. How's everybody doing, you okay? Awesome. (Billy has some sort of problem with his guitar) It's like Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction.

Today
Bleeding the Orchid
BC: Thank you. That's a song called Bleeding the Orchid from our new album Zeitgeist. Coming soon. June six. No? July sixth, right? July sixth. No, July sixth in Germany. Because the zeitgeist is seven oh seven oh seven and this is the place. This is a song about our home country called United States.
United States
BC: Thank you. We would like to take a short break, everyone can go outside, relax...and we'll play some more in a few minutes.
[set break]
unknown lady: Floor, sit.
BC: German chair. Must humiliate you, the chair.
Thirty-three (Billy 12-string w/Lisa)
BC: I used to live with my father - uh, well, I guess that makes sense that I lived with my father. My father left when I was, I don't know, eight years old or something. Then when I was older and the band was starting, I lived with my father for a while. And I lived in this room in the back to be around my father. And so I wrote that song one day in that room, so let’s honor the room.
Daydream (Billy solo acoustic)
BC: I would like to try for you now, for the first time ever, our new single, Tarantula, solo acoustic. I've never tried this, so...it’ll be an interesting journey. We named this song Tarantula after the famous German band the Scorpions. (crowd laughs) Listen to them, they're one of our favorite bands. And so, to the Scorpions. You laugh but I'm serious.
Tarantula (Billy solo acoustic)
Rock You Like a Hurricane (tease) (Billy solo acoustic)
BC: I was trying to rock you like a hurricane.
Winterlong (Billy acoustic w/Lisa)
That's the Way (Billy solo acoustic)
BC: Thank you, I’m sorry I can't look at everybody, it's so weird, it's like I can only look at you, can’t look at you. I feel like I’m only playing to you, not to you, and no one understands what I’m saying anyway. (loud noise in the venue) That was something. We’d like to play one more song from our new album...called Zeitgeist, available December 7th, 2012. Heh heh, kitchen.
Neverlost
Drown
Gossamer
BC: Thank you, thank you. ... Thank you, thank you.
