The Parable is the second studio album by the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex. It was released on November 6, 2017 as a digital download,[citation needed] and the physical edition was released 2 weeks after the digital download's release.[1] This is the first album since the 2005 debut, Life Begins Again, this time joined by Randy Ingram (keyboards) and Chris Speed (clarinet, saxophone). The album was produced by Chamberlin's longtime collaborator, Billy Mohler.

DownBeat magazine praised the album, proclaiming "Chamberlin combines the energy and production values of a rock album with the spontaneity of an improvised jazz session."[2]
