"Cash Car Star" is a song from The Smashing Pumpkins' sixth studio album, Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music. It was originally written and recorded during the Adore era and was re-recorded during the Machina sessions.
The drums for the Machina version were recorded in a single take, in what Billy Corgan considered Jimmy Chamberlin's greatest all-time takes. This version is due to be released on the Machina re-issue.[1]
