MCIS Demos I (later released as Billy's Home Demos) is a bootleg album of The Smashing Pumpkins. It was the first set of demos to circulate in 1996 and offers the earliest known recordings for Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. All tracks are demos recorded in Billy's home studio in 1994. Four songs ("Jupiter's Lament", "Blank", "Rotten Apples" and "Meladori Magpie") are identical to the B-sides that were later seen on official releases.[1]

Track listing[edit | edit source]

MCIS Demos I first appeared in 1996 without any label,[2] while the identical Billy's Home Demos was released the following year under the Plum Classics label.[3]
