At the conclusion of the show, the band wins Video of the Year for "Tonight, Tonight". The video also wins awards for Breakthrough Video, Best Direction in a Video, Best Special Effects in a Video, Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography in a Video. "1979" wins Best Alternative Video.
