William Patrick Corgan Early Years 1985-1990 is a four-date, eight-show residency by Billy Corgan at his own Madame ZuZu's taking place in October 2021. This residency marks the first time he's performed a formal ticketed solo show since his 2019 tour of the US. The songs performed are exclusively from 1985-1990, in part taken by request ahead of time on Instagram.[1] Corgan said he evaluated upwards of 150 songs when planning the setlist.[2]
The Madame ZuZu's blurb for advertising the event read:
A unique and intimate evening of story and song, as William Patrick Corgan explores his early years as a musician and songwriter with music written between 1985-1990 when he was a fledgling artist on the way to making his first album.
