"Venus in Furs" is a cover by The Smashing Pumpkins of the 1967 hit song by The Velvet Underground. It was recorded live on WNUR-FM's Airplay program on November 19, 1988 and first appeared on the Mashed Potatoes compilation album. It's first official release was on the 2012 deluxe reissue of Pisces Iscariot.
