"Tribute to Johnny" is an instrumental song by the The Smashing Pumpkins released with the "Zero" EP, which was bundled with the box set The Aeroplane Flies High. It is a tribute to Johnny Winter, whom Corgan considers one of his favorite guitarists.[1] The song was originally supposed to feature Corgan sporadically screaming "Oh yeah!" in the same manner that Johnny Winter would, although this was not present in the final version.[2]
