Iha: I feel great. How are you doin’?
BC: James, I got a lot on my mind.
Iha: Heh! Well, the stage isn’t the place to bring it up. But--
BC: You might wanna skip this portion of the show.
Iha: This is where we freestyle and it’s...iffy, you need to get a beverage or a...go to the bathroom.
BC: We play some hackysack.
Iha: Hackysack, hey, that’s fun. I like that.
BC: That’s what they did back in the day, the grunge days: they played hackysack.
Iha: I kinda remember that, I kinda remember that, yeah. A little known fact about grunge: hackysack.
BC: Thank you very much for being with us this evening, we appreciate it so much. We look out at all these beautiful smiling faces. We can only say thank you a million times: thank you a million times. We realize it’s our responsibility to put on a good show, we hope to do that. We’re only about halfway through.
Iha: Yes, and then it all goes to hell.
BC: And as you know with a Smashing Pumpkins show, it can go either way. It can be...
Iha: I’ve been at some of those.
BC: ...grungeta –- yes, you have. Grungetastic. It could be bloody brilliance. It could be illuminating, a revelation. Or it could be a disaster. A disappointment.
Iha: Hey, that sounds exciting, what you just described.
BC: So in this electric atmosphere, we’d like to play you an old song from 1994. You know what I’m thinkin’ about, James?
Iha: What are you thinkin’ about?
BC: Tomorrow, the NWA, my wrestling company...
Iha: Hey.
BC: ...the National Wrestling Alliance, has a pay-per-view!
