(BC after Jimmy solo: Ow! Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin on the drums! Juh juh juh juh juh J-Joliet.)
BC: [cuts in] ...show biz answer, you want a real answer?
Iha: I wanna ask -- I want a showbiz answer. How you feelin’?
BC: I’m fine, thank you for asking.
Iha: Alright! Rogers.
BC: Thank you so much for being with us tonight on this lovely, balmy evening. I have no idea what day it is, but I know where I am.
Iha: Rogers, Bentonville, the surrounding areas.
BC: Did you go to Walmart today?
Iha: I did not but, you know, I have a great time if I go there. Just like--
BC: You know, this is the home of Walmart right here, the home.
Iha: Just like lookin’ at stuff, I’m like, I guess I should get...six pairs of socks. I mean, it’s, it’s a –- it’s a good time. Get an iced coffee, walk around.
BC: Heh heh heh.
Iha: I think I have some like-minded--
BC: Have you been to the Sam Walton Museum?
Iha: I have not, I have not. Heh heh! I just saw somebody who’s like, the fuck are you guys talkin’ about?
BC: We’re talkin’ about Walmart!
Iha: They’re like, I thought I came to a rock and roll show, not this bullshit about every...(trails off laughing).
BC: D’you know...before Walmart, there was no city, nothing, there was just...arid land. And then Walmart came and they built this city, it’s amazing.
Iha: The dinosaurs roamed back then. The Jurassic period. As we all know, it turned into a movie...and then Walmart came. Alright, don’t worry, we’re gonna get back to the show, heh heh. We got more songs.
BC: I would be remiss to not thank Interpol.
Iha: I like those guys. Shades.
BC: And those Rival Sons.
Iha: Rival Sons.
BC: We’re so blessed to be playing with such great artists on this wonderful bill, so thank you for bringing us here. And you can’t tell, heh heh heh heh, James and I started this band about 36 years ago.
Iha: Oh my god.
BC: Thank you, James.
Iha: I’m just OMGing at the...spanning that much time, that’s like going back to the Cre -– uh, the Jurassic period like I had spoken about before.
BC: You need to take some ayahuasca and just contemplate those 36 years. And then, you come to me the next day and you said, “I heard a whisper in my ear.” And I say, “What was that whisper?” And you say?
Iha: Let’s play Tonight, Tonight.
BC: I figured you would say Walmart, heh, Walmart, heh heh. Although technically that’s two words, although “wall” is misspelled, so.... Anyway, enough comedy, we’re not that funny, we realize that. You’re not here for the comedy, you’re here for the hits! And boy, do we got hits. This is a little song that goes back to 1994 –- you wanna say something? We dedicate this song to everyone that’s here, we thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for supporting us. This is a little song we like to call Tonight, Tonight.
