Atum Intro
Empires
(BC before Jeff outro solo: Chicagoooo!)
Bullet with Butterfly Wings
Iha: Hello, Chicago. How are you guys doin’? You ready to rock? Thank you so much, we are the Smashing Pumpkins.
Today
We Only Come Out at Night (acoustic)
Cyr
Once in a Lifetime
Solara
Eye
(BC after 2nd chorus: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the rock show! It’s so great to be home, thank you for being with us tonight, thank you so much, thank you everybody!)
(BC during outro singalong: Sing it with [unintelligible word]! Come on, Chicago!! All the way in the back, all the way in the back. Beautiful, thank you.)
Ava Adore
(BC after Jimmy solo: Ow! Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin on the drums! Joliet’s own, Joliet’s own. Ow ow!)
Iha: Thank you so much. How are you guys doin’, thumbs up? Evil hand up?
BC: James, how you feelin’ tonight?
Iha: I’m feelin’ good, how you doin’? In our home town, Chi-town.
BC: Elk Grove in the house, Elk Grove in the house! (exaggerated Chicago accent) How you guys doin’?
Iha: (exaggerated Chicago accent) "They got guys like us, how we doin’?"
(a man wearing some sort of light on his head wanders onstage and takes numerous pictures of Billy and James during the next part)
BC: James, ‘member back in the day...
Iha: Oh yeah.
BC: ...Gish, ‘91, ‘92?
Iha: It’s hard to remember but yes.
BC: We’d go all over the world. And some guy in Germany would be like, “Ya, you guys come from the Seattle, right?” And we’re like, “No, we’re from fuckin’ Chicago!” “Oh. Ya, the home of the blues!” “Yeah, the blues, buddy. I got your blues right here.” Hey, real quick -– (to picture taking man) don’t fall off the stage, please, I can’t deal with the lawsuit. This is our friend Dickie Shay. Deerfield in the house, Deerfield in the house.
Iha: Don’t be alarmed.
BC: Let me tell you a quick story about Dickie Shay. I’m in Pittsburgh and I go, “Hey, when we crossin’ the Canadian border?” And Doug, our tour manager, goes, “Well, tomorrow, heh.” I’m like, “I don’t have a passport.” Dickie got on a plane and came to Pittsburgh with my passport, saved this tour. Thank you, Dickie!
Iha: Look at his outfit.
BC: Now, Dickie –- oh my god, stop. Dickie, now you’re an internationally acclaimed recording artist in your own right. But you play kind of a somber music, so I know you’re not used to the fans chanting "Dickie". I’d like to get a little Dickie chant going for Dickie: “Dickie...!”
Crowd: Dickie! Dickie! Dickie! Dickie!
BC: Alright, now get off the stage, go. Get off the stage, go.
Iha: Thank you, uh, Dickie Shay.
BC: Back to –- where’d you come from? Deerfield –- go up there.
Iha: We appreciate that outfit you’ve got on.
BC: Hey listen, this is my favorite part of the show because we get to thank you for 34 years of the Smashing Pumpkins. To quote the girl from Palatine, “Un-freakin’-believable.” Un-freakin’-believable. James, do you remember the 34 years?
Iha: No.
BC: I do! I remember, I remember every little thing. Anyway, we’d like to dedicate this song to everyone here, thank you for making this a special night here at the U.C. The house that Michael built! Michael Stipe, right? Michael Stipe built this place. I’m just kiddin’. Heh heh heh, un-freakin’-believable. Heh heh.
Iha: I-I haven’t heard that, yeah, un-freakin’-believable.
BC: Is this where I stop talking and just play?
Iha: Yeah, okay.
BC: So we dedicate this song to everybody here, this is a little song we like to call Tonight, Tonight.
Tonight, Tonight (Billy/Iha acoustic)
Stand Inside Your Love
I of the Mourning
Iha: Thank you so much, I’d like to introduce the band. On vocals, all the way from Australia, Ms. Katie Cole. On the bass (pronounced like the fish) guitar, from Manchester, England, Mr. Jack Bates. Jack Bates. Hell of a guy. And now, from Hollywood, California, Mr. Jeff Schroeder. We’ll get back to you. On the drums, pummeling those drums into submission, Mr. Jimmyyyy Chamberlin! On lead vocals and hot guitar, Mr. Billyyyy Corgan. Thank you again for coming out tonight. I am James Iha, this is Cherub Rock!
Cherub Rock
> Stranglehold (tease – during Billy’s transition solo)

(Iha after Billy solo: Would you please welcome to the stage, Frank Catalano. Frank Catalano. (Catalano solos for nearly 5 minutes and then leaves the stage) Frank Catalano, Frank Catalano.)
(BC immediately after lyrics finish: Thank you, Chicago!)
Iha: Thank you so much. Get home safe. Drive safe. Thank you.
