BC: Thank you very much. Thank you for being with us tonight, thank you. You know, recently in my life.... How do you say “shut the fuck up” in Dutch? That was a joke, I don’t care, keep talking. Yes. Recently we, uh, passed the 25th anniversary of the first Smashing Pumpkins show. And tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of Siamese Dream being released. Hahahaha, you wanna count on that, Jeffrey? (Billy and Jeff laugh) That’s Jeff on the guitar. On the drums, Mr. Michael Byrne. On the bass guitar, Nicole Fiorentino.
Nicole: Hello.
BC: I don't know how many times I've played the Paradiso. I don't know how many times I have played this venue. I don’t know how many times I've stood on this stage. Second time or third time? Fourth time? Fourth time. Okay, well, it's gonna be the last. (Jeff laughs) No, I love this venue, it's a beaut - really beautiful venue. And uh, please don’t misunderstand me. We love to play, we love to play rock and roll, we love to play Smashing Pumpkins music. But as they say in America, I'm getting a little long in the tooth. That’s called old. I know you know that word “old.” Yes, I’m 46 years old. I’m gonna start doing a lot of gardening. You think I’m joking but I’m not. Anyway. So I wanna take this opportunity because I don’t always say thank you the way I wanna say thank you. I mean, I say thank you but I don’t always say thank you the way I want to thank you.

Nicole: Saucy.
BC: Is that what they mean by a Dutch pancake? Is that a Dutch pancake is?
Jeff: I don’t know, heh heh, I don’t know. But we’ll find out tonight.
BC: I’m staying in town. And maybe that’s why I haven’t found love, because I haven’t found love here.
Jeff: It’s a nice place.
BC: There seems to be a lot of beautiful women riding bicycles, maybe there’s a correlation there.
Nicole: They’re in good shape.
BC: A lot of stoned dudes and a lot of beautiful women riding bicycles, that’s.... Anyway, I won’t say what I was gonna say ‘cause it’s not very fun, so we’ll just go on with the fun. Because that’s what Smashing Pumpkins is about: fun. F-U-N, big letters, F-U-N. You having a good time? As they say in America to me often when I talk, they say “shut the fuck up and play,” so I’m gonna shut the fuck up and play. This is the title track from our recent album, Oceania.
