Banter[edit | edit source]

Heavy Metal Machine
The Sacred and Profane
BC: Hello! Hello everybody. Thank you very much for stickin' around to see us play. We'd like to uh, thank Our Lady Peace for asking us to play on their cursed festival. So uh, we hope you had a good -- bluh, wait, start over. We hope you had a good time today. And uh....
Stand Inside Your Love
Once Upon a Time
Cherub Rock
Glass and the Ghost Children
BC: Thank you very much, thank you very much, thank you very much. I'd like to introduce a couple special people to you right now. To my left and to your left, Mr. James Iha. And on my left and to your left, joining him in this special duet, your own countryperson, Miss Melissa Auf der Maur.
(Jimmy starts drums)
Melissa: Oh, it’s - it’s funny!
Don't You Want Me
Melissa: Instead of some fun Canadian hits, we brought you some ‘80s disco shit.
I of the Mourning
The Everlasting Gaze
> Bullet with Butterfly Wings
Try, Try, Try
> Drown
BC: Thank you very much, thank you. We'd like to uh, play one more song for you if that's okay. Before we play this last song, we'd like to say thank you to everyone who's been a fan of ours over the last ten years. Even if you're not a fan of our band, we want you to know that we respect anybody who's a fan of alternative music because obviously alternative music is one hundred and fifty-five fuckin' times better than what's going on right now. Of course, we would like to uh, we would like everybody to like us -- that's sort of normal -- but we understand if you don't, but we wanted to say we respect you anyway and uh, we wish you love and luck and uh, we'll see you some other time.
1979 (abandoned - Billy stops the drum loop to say...)
BC: Oh yeah, this is Jimmy.
1979 (acoustic, Jimmy plays guitar)
Iha: Thank you, thank you.
