When the band next returned to the venue 26 years later, Billy Corgan reminisced about the show: "And the reason I remember that concert, it was the night my mother died. And we were on stage here and I walked off stage and somebody met me and said, 'Oh, by the way, your mother died while you were on stage.' And then they said, 'Do you wanna play tomorrow?' Heh, heh. Only in rock and roll. “Sorry your mom died. Hey, you wanna do that show tomorrow?” If you wonder why I’m so fucked up, there’s your answer right there."
