The Above Take Shape

"Take Shape" is a song by Pittsburgh-based hardcore punk rock band Code Orange from their 2023 album, The Above. Released on July 18, 2023, it was co-written and co-sung by Billy Corgan. Corgan's vocals can be heard during the bridge section of the song at around the 2:40 mark.

The collaboration was first learned about in June 2021 when Code Orange posted a photo of themselves in the studio with Corgan. Corgan referred to "Take Shape" as a "rocking song from a seriously rocking band."

While there's no credited cameo, a bald-headed character vaguely resembling an older Corgan appears in the section with Corgan's vocals.
