"Speed of Love" is a single from James Iha's second solo album, Look to the Sky. It was first issued as a digital download and then on 7" vinyl, with 500 copies pressed. "Moon River" served as the B-side, which is a cover from the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's.
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer called the track the successor to the "pretty and delicate Let It Come Down acoustic pop rock track "Sound of Love", only this one has a dance-heavy beat and an effects-laced electric guitar solo."[1]

Lyrics[edit | edit source]
In the night, there's danger in the air
Caution is in the wind
But me I don't care
When you toll
I'll be calling for you
Don't know what you are and what you could do
But I'm traveling at the speed of love
Sooner or later I'll be crashing
But I don't know what I'm thinking of
All the lights around me are flashing
In the night, don't know what I feel
You say hold on, nothing is for real
I feel a change and I'm calling for you
Don't know what you are and what you could do
But I'm traveling at the speed of love
Sooner or later I'll be crashing
But I don't know what you're dreaming of
And all the lights around me are flashing
And all the blood inside me is rushing
And all the cars outside are crashing
Whatever you say is true
Well I drifted in the shadows
It gets so light with you
But I'm traveling at the speed of love
And all the lights around me are flashing
Yes we're traveling at the speed of love
And sooner or later we'll be crashing
Yes we're traveling at the speed of love
Sooner or later we'll be crashing
Traveling at the speed of love...
