"Signal to Noise" is a song by The Smashing Pumpkins that was an outtake of Zeitgeist. A rough demo of the song reportedly exists and is in Matt Walker's possession. Walker and his band, The Most Dangerous Race, covered it for the MySpace cover album project.[1] This cover also appears on a compilation tribute CD to the band by the German magazine Visions.[2] A version by The Smashing Pumpkins has yet to be revealed.
“
Having had the unique perspective of playing in the band for two and a half years, I know firsthand what an amazing band the Smashing Pumpkins are. I think their scope has still yet to be fully appreciated. It is nearly non-existent for a band to be that successful and at the same time be so artistically challenging and uncompromising in their vision. I have been given a great opportunity to record a new song written for, but not included on, Zeitgeist. It is an honor as a friend and a fan to contribute to this MySpace compilation.

begin the chase
down the rabbit hole
we shall go
to love again
oh dearest one
there's little i don't believe
that won't reveal
our love against
all concealed
so if you'll take me
as i am
oh you won't break me
or halve this man
what's born must die tonight
so kill me love
one more time
just kill me love
one more time
for all time
you're mine
it never stops
this rain inside my heart
won't get caught
in love again
behind the wheel
of a dead end deal
destroying light
to live against
all i feel
so if you'll take me
as i am
this man outrageous
this who i am
don't understand how i fall
so kill me love
one more time
just kill me love
one more time
for all time
you're mine
