"Armed to the Teeth" is an early song by The Smashing Pumpkins. It was recorded during the fall 1988 session at Billy Corgan's father's home studio, before D'arcy Wretzky and Jimmy Chamberlin joined the band. The studio recording has never surfaced, however, and it was performed only a handful of times including August 10, 1988 at The Avalon, which was Wretzky's first show.

Lyrics[edit | edit source]
armed to the teeth
with everyone you meet
they are taxes at the door(?)
are we
settled on the beat
they are honored on the floor
on and on
on and on and on and on and on and on and on
settled on the sheets
with everyone you meet
they are on honored on the floor
are we
settled on the beat
they are honored on the floor
on and on
on and on and on and on and on and on and on
armed to the teeth
with everyone you meet
they are taxes at your door (?)
are we
settled on the beat
they are honoured on the floor
it's my party
it's my party and i'll go if i want
on and on
on and on and on and on and on and on and on
