We Are Not Alone is an album by Breaking Benjamin that features several contributions by Billy Corgan. He co-wrote "Follow", "Forget It", and "Rain", while also contributing additional guitar to "Forget It". An outtake called "Better Days" – also co-written by Corgan – appeared on the Shallow Bay: The Best of Breaking Benjamin compilation. In 2005, the album was re-released with a full-band version of "Rain" which was also released as a single.

Frontman Benjamin Burnley said the experience working with Corgan was one the highlights of his career. "I wanted the band to sound different, and the best way to do that was to get Billy", he told Rolling Stone.[1] In an interview with MTV, he elaborated: "At first, I was so nervous. When I met him I was like, 'Oh shit, that's Billy Corgan.' But after a while I got more comfortable, and then he just became Billy. I'd come in every day, we'd order soup, eat and then we'd get to work. It was great."[2]

The album sold 48,000 copies on its first week and was certified platinum by the RIAA on June 13, 2005.[3]
