BC: Thank you so much. Who here speaks English? Who here that speaks English has the Adore album? Okay. I’m gonna play a little bit of extra song for you. I wasn’t planning on playing this song, but I wanna play this song for you for a moment.
Perfect (Billy solo acoustic) (partial, ends before verse 3)
BC: Thank you very much. I knew this was gonna be a special show. I only played in Korea one time, 2000. Who was here in 2000? Thank you, thank you so much for coming back. I have played many, many shows in my life and the show in Seoul in 2000 is one of the most memorable shows I ever played. Everywhere I go, people say, “What’s the craziest crowd? What’s the wildest crowd in the world?” and I say, “Seoul.” Or...Brazil. But maybe Koreans are Brazilian and...Koreans are Bra--yeah, heh heh. Anyway, thank you so much, we’re having such a great time playing for you. Like to play a song for you I haven’t played for a few years now. It’s a song from the Machina album.
With Every Light (abandoned at beginning of 4th line when Billy starts with “sun....”)
BC: Oops. I don’t remember the words. Oh no. Hahaha! Should I play another song or...?, heh heh. Okay, I’ll try it again, ready? I’m very sorry, it’s my first show.
With Every Light (Billy solo acoustic)
Disarm (Billy acoustic w/Jeff e-bow)
Stand Inside Your Love
> Tarantula
Zero
BC: You like that song, huh? [cuts]
Owata
BC: [cuts in] I was here in 1998 Olympics [sic]. Did you know that? Yes, I competed in the Olympics. Heh, honestly, heh heh. I’d like to introduce the band to you. Over here...Nicole Fiorentino. On the drums, Samurai Mike Byrne. On the geetar, Mr. Jeff Schroeder. And you...oh, who am I? Heh heh. Uh...Grandma [unintelligible word]. (crowd chanting “Billy! Billy!”) Whoop whoop! Whoop whoop! (Billy is raising the roof)
Nicole: Did you just raise the roof?!
BC: What, honey?
Nicole: Did you just raise the roof?
BC: I just raised the roof, whoop whoop! Alright. ‘Kay, you ready for this song? You gotta be really quiet, shhhh. Shhh, shhh, shhhhhhh...
Guy in crowd: [unintelligible]!
BC: ...shut the fuck up. Whoop whoop! Now, shhh. Shhh.
