Banter[edit | edit source]

Porcelina of the Vast Oceans
> Behold! The Night Mare
> Bring the Light
(Lisa (accidentally?) plays one synthesizer note for 5 seconds)
Lisa: Just checkin’ to see if you’re awake.
Tonight, Tonight
Mayonaise
Try, Try, Try
> Superchrist
> (Come On) Let’s Go!
(drum intro to Stellar begins)
BC: Good evening, thank you very much! Welcome to our show, we hope you have a good time. That’s it. There’s nothing else.
Stellar
BC: Like to introduce Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin. Jimmy Chamberlin. Heh, James Joseph Chamberlin, heh.
Perfect (Billy acoustic w/Jimmy tambourine)
Lily
(BC after “goodbye” at end: And good riddance.)
BC: Thank you very much, thank you. We recently released a, uh, recently released an EP of four songs called American Gothic. I can tell by your response that you all ran out and got it immediately. That’s the kind of fans we have. They usually wait about 10 years to decide they like what we put out, so...you got about nine years and 10 months to go but you’ll like this song...someday. Exactly. I’m waiting. This is a song called The Rose March.
The Rose March
Today
> Tarantula
> Stand Inside Your Love
> Ava Adore
BC: Alright! That’s the end of the concert, thank you very much. Peace. Peace out. Well, we - I’ve had my problems in Brussels. Heh heh. There was that time I couldn’t sing and everyone booed at me, remember that one? That was a good one. Yeah. Who was there? You were booing, weren’t you? You were booing at me, fuck you, fuck you for booing at me. See? Then they boo again. I’m just kidding, it’s a joke, it’s a joke, hello, it’s a joke. I don’t care that you booed, I’m used to being booed, it’s not a big deal. Sorry about that. For those of you that were at that show, sorry, I’m sure I’ve apologized like seven times now, but I’m apologizing again. Sorry about that. Then of course, Jimmy, there was my solo show in Ghent. Yes. My sparsely attended solo show, where I dared--dared to question a member of the audience. Yes. We all know that the audience is always right and the performer is always wrong, I learned that now. I am merely your servant to please you, to entertain you, to make you come, whatever you need, I am here for you. Heh, Sergeant Jeff. Sergeant Jeff will referee all disputes. Who was at that solo show in Ghent? Yeah. Yes. You know, it was a good speech, I thought.
Jeff: Do you remember it?
BC: I said that I would return to Belgium with the Smashing Pumpkins and I have returned with the Smashing Pumpkins. What’s the big deal? It’s not our fault that you eat 23 pounds of chocolate per person a year. It’s not a--it’s not our problem that you think you’re better than the rest of Europe. It’s not our problem that the EU is based out of Belgium, it’s not our problem. Am I right about that? What does this all mean? I don’t know! I don’t know.
Jeff: (off mic) Heh heh, [unintelligible but sounds like “caught in the rain.”]
BC: Heh haha. What does this have to do with rock and roll?--it has everything to do with rock and roll! Okay, heh heh heh. Once again, I’ll get a bad review for freaking out. “He freaked out again in Belgium, he freaked out. He just went crazy. He went insane. He threw his guitar, he punched Jeff...he humiliated Ginger.” Well, that’s a good thing. They like that.
Ginger: (off mic) I know, I do too.
BC: It’s a misogynist type of thing here. Anyway, this is an old song. Like to send this out to all our old fans. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you very much, god bless everybody here. Thank you.

Everything’s just getting better and better and brighter and lighter or whiter and pure. Awww, it’s so beautiful. It’s so beautiful. It’s so beautiful! It’s so beautiful!!!!)
