BC: Thank you very much, thank you. What’s going on out there, huh? Heh heh, how’s it goin’? I see you’re rockin’ over there. Alright. Heh heh, thank you. I’m just tired, I’m just taking a break, heh heh heh. Talk amongst yourselves.

(BC at beginning: Good people of Boston, put your hands together. We want you to sing along with us on this ending. We know you know the words, don’t act like you don’t. (singing) I love rock and roll...)
(BC after 2 call-and-responses: Kick it down, Jimmy, kick it down. Bring it down, bring it down. (band plays quieter) You people are gonna sing. You’re gonna sing your hearts out. Because we know you love rock and roll just as much as I do. (singing) I love rock and roll...)
(BC right before big rock ending: Boston, goodnight.)
[encore break]
Pomp and Circumstances
BC: Thank you. That was a song, that was a song from our new album, Zeitgeist. We all know that you brush your teeth to it. Well, that’s the end of the concert, thank you very much for coming. (crowd reacts) We’re only contracted for 18 songs, that’s it, we’re done. (crowd boos) Hey man, I used to be a rebel, you see where it got me: fuckin’ nowhere. I wanna sell out like the rest of ‘em. Ever since that internet killed everything, that fuckin’ internet. We had such a good thing going there with the music business about exploiting artists and taking advantage of them, bleeding them dry of all their creative talent, it was such a good system, what happened to it? Fuckin’ internet ruined everything. You used to have to go buy your porn at a store, now you can just get it right there, boom. Fuck, you can find a wife on the internet, everything. I need to go to like alt rock star match dot com or something like that. Or maybe I just need a fine Massachusetts woman. Sturdy, Pilgrim type. Get out there and work my fields. Hey, you like that talk, heh.
Ginger: (off mic) That’s not a Pumpkin move.
BC: You’re old school, I know you are. Anyway, enough jokin’ around, thank you very much, we’ve had a great time, we hope you’ve enjoyed the concert.
Muzzle
[encore break]
Where Boys Fear to Tread
Cherub Rock
[bow]
BC: I have to say before we go, before I go...Boston has always treated us very well, thank you very much, we appreciate that. I think when you look at our tour and see that we’re not playing a lot of places multiple times, there’s a reason we’re here multiple times: ‘cause Boston has always taken care of SP. Alright, see you next time.
