The Hit Factory was a recording studio in New York City. It closed on April 1, 2005; the original building is now the headquarters of American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
The Smashing Pumpkins recorded a single song there, "Christmastime". Other famous artists that have recorded there include Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, U2, and Bruce Springsteen.
