MCIS Demos II is a bootleg album of The Smashing Pumpkins that was the second set of Mellon Collie-era demos to circulate, following MCIS Demos I. It first appeared on eBay in March 2000. Billy Corgan was at one point presented with a copy, and he said he had lost his, and that the track listing suggests it was something he put together for the band to practice to, or for Flood to listen to.

The mixes here are not all complete by comparison to officially released versions, and some offer interesting differences. There are two takes on "Zero", one with a slower tempo and with notably different guitar work. "Tonight, Tonight" is much more raw than the studio version, while "Love" exemplifies the original riff action that's covered with flangers on Mellon Collie. Two songs from "Pastichio Medley" made their first appearance in full on this bootleg: "So Very Sad About Us" and "Depresso".

All songs are instrumental with exception of "Methusela", "Here Is No Why" and "Beautiful".

Track listing[edit | edit source]

"Have Love Will Travel" was listed as "Unknown Instrumental", until it was formally given a name on the The Aeroplane Flies High 2013 deluxe reissue.
