Kristopher Michael Pooley (born October 30, 1976) is an American rock musician from Detroit. He married The Smashing Pumpkins bassist Ginger Pooley in June 2008 and played with the band during the 20th Anniversary tour, providing additional keyboards, flute, percussion and accordion. The newly married couple had a child, and in March 2010 Ginger Pooley left the band to focus on the new family.

In addition to touring with the Pumpkins, Pooley has worked with Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, Kesha, Adam Lambert, and has toured with acts such as Jane's Addiction, Liz Phair, and Morrissey. As of January 2018 he is also the music director for American Idol[1] on ABC.
