CYR cover contest

The CYR cover contest was a fan cover contest in support of The Smashing Pumpkins eleventh studio album, CYR. It was conducted by the band and Sumerian Records. The contest was first announced on February 2, 2021, with submissions accepted through February 11.[1] On February 16, twenty finalists were announced and fans were invited to vote on their favorites.[2] The winner was announced on February 23 as a cover of "Wyttch" by the Mighty One Man Band, with runner-ups "Adrennalynne" by Cale Patton, "Birch Grove" by Chris Harvey, and "Tyger, Tyger" by Deciduous Trees.[3]
