Banter[edit | edit source]

BC: One, two, one, two, one. One two, yes. Can you hear the guitar? ...
Chloe: Hi everybody, I’m Chloe. We had no idea what to expect, I was worried no one was gonna show up. I was like, “What if we have all these people here working and nobody comes?” Um, ‘cause Billy was like, “It’s Memorial Day, everyone’s barbecuing, busy”, so thank you for coming. And one announcement because the bathroom’s really hard to get to. We have the side entrance open to the building, so if you just walk out, we do have a security guard at the door and he’ll show you where that entrance is. Just, you can walk to the bathrooms, you walk all the way down the hall, exit through that same entrance, it’s like an emergency exit, no alarm will go off and just come back in through the front door. So, that’s the only change today. Otherwise, thank you for coming and enjoy the show and take care of our staff, they worked really hard today, we decided to do this last Sunday. Thank you.
BC: Thank you very much. Happy Memorial Day. Happy Memorial Day, happy Memorial Day.
If I Were a Carpenter
Today
BC: Thank you!
The Colour of Love
Aeronaut
BC: Thank you very kindly, thank you. How’s everybody doin’ today?
Lady in crowd: How was Napa?
BC: Napa was alright, thank you for asking. Lots of wine shops. It’s like, like in Highland Park, every second shop is a nail salon. Every second shop in Napa is a wine shop. Like to play you a song from the new Atum album. It’s one I was told not to do. And uh...yeah.
Space Age
BC: Now, knowing somebody would show up today, heh heh heh, wasn’t sure who, but welcome to you for being here. Um, so I thought I’d try to play a song I’ve never played before, just for you. Full disclosure, I did not write it. That is not an excuse, I think the song is quite beautiful and I hope you enjoy it.
Summer Rain
Cotillions
BC: Is the guitar/mic balance okay? Alright. As we say in the Pumpkins, you wanna be pro, right? That’s pro.
1979
BC: Thank you!
Beautiful
BC: Thank you very much.
The Gold Mask
BC: It went by so quick. Thank you very much for coming. Heh heh heh heh. Who was born in Chicago? Well, even if you weren’t, this song is for you.
Tonight, Tonight
BC: Thank you so much.
