The September 11, 2021 event was the first day of the Madame ZuZu's 2.0 One Year Anniversary celebration. It was advertised with the tagline "Sorrow Is The Family Business" along with a new merchandise line. The event included special food items, such as a Smashing Pumpkins candy bar,^[1] and a showing of the silent film The Merry Widow. Unannounced during the second half of the film, Billy Corgan provided an improvisational music score, which he described as "equal parts thrilling, challenging, impossible and beautiful." He recorded the 1+ hour session but made no comment as to whether it would be released.^[2]
