BC: Thank you very much. That was my Ogilala. Appreciate that, thank you. So a couple of things.... For those of you in the know, I’ll play one more song and I’ll take a 20 minute break and then I’ll come back and play some songs that were written before you were born and then.... And then...I try not to talk anymore 'cause we know where that goes. I let the music do the talking like Joe Perry said. For like 30 years, I heard like, just shut up and play and I was like kinda like “You know what? Shut up and play, yeah.” Uh, heh heh. Thank you, I thank you so much for being here, you truly honor me with your being here with me tonight, thank you. So last little bit of information, I wrote a lot of these songs from Ogilala traveling down Route 66 and we’re actually on Route 66, so Jack Kerouac called it the mother road and this was the destination, L.A. was the dream, it was the dream for me as a kid, so it’s always an honor to play in Los Angeles. Of course, you know, the only problem with that whole concept is I thought everyone was like Erik Estrada. Sort of beautiful tan, mocha, just in the sun, you know, (inhales).
Lady in crowd: Nope.
BC: Heh heh heh. Anyway, so I’d like to play this one more song by Tim Hardin and I’ll see you in 20 minutes after that.

BC: Thank you very much, thank you everybody, thank you. We’ve come to the bitter end. ...
Girl in crowd: You were amazing on Howard Stern!
BC: That wasn’t me, by the way. So before I bid you farewell and goodnight.... I told you I’d play it for you later in the hotel, just you and me, okay, so [unintelligible]. I said I’d bring the Yamaha acoustic, you said you’d bring the baby oil and we’d just have a fuckin’ ‘90s party. We’d get real deep into the back catalog, you know, some b-sides, some...some of the - some of the Hole songs that I wrote, you know, we’d just get really, really deep - just me and you so...be patient, my friend. And thank you for a great evening everyone, thank you. So I’d like to play this song that Mr. James Iha and I wrote somewhere in....
Girl in crowd: Disarm!
BC: Yeah, he - he and I wrote that one too. Um, yeah, James and I wrote Smells Like Teen Spirit. What’s that song we wrote, Don’t Call Me Daughter? Yeah, James and I like wrote a lot of stuff, you guys don’t probably even know.
Guy in crowd: Can’t wait for the new stuff next year.
BC: Thank you, my friend.
Whiny girl in crowd: 1979, please!
Another guy in crowd: Shut up and let him play.
BC: Exactly. This is a song called Farewell and Goodnight.
