"Girl Named Sandoz" is a cover of The Animals' 1967 song, "A Girl Named Sandoz," which was the B-side on their "When I Was Young" single. It was recorded live by The Smashing Pumpkins during the 1991 Peel Sessions and later included on the 1994 compilation album, Pisces Iscariot.

The song itself is a reference to Sandoz Laboratories, where LSD was invented.
