Iha: Hello, hello, fine people...of Kentucky and Ohio. Which is better? Heh. Sorry, I know I’m gonna start a fight here in the crowd.
BC: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming to our show tonight.
Iha: Thank you thank you thank you.
BC: Through the years, we’ve played a lot of places in this part of the country, going back all the way to about 1989.
Iha: Did we play down here in 1989?
BC: We played down here about 1989, it’s true.
Iha: Alright. And now what happened?
BC: These are all the children of the people we played to in 1989.
Iha: Back in 1889.
BC: The love children. And you know, when we started this band in 1987....
Iha: Holy moly.
BC: We had dreams, you know, we had dreams, I may look like a lonely vampire but as a young man, I had some dreams.
Iha: Big dreams.
BC: And about 1987 in my dad’s house, back there in the back bedroom when we started this band, I said, “James, someday...someday we’re gonna go...”
Iha: Yes.
BC: “...to where the rivers meet.”

BC: The confluence of the river.
Iha: ...little, heh, where we would write.
BC: And I said...“I got a big dream” and he said, “We’re gonna play the Enormo Dome, right?” And I said, “No...”
Iha: That dream was big guitars.
BC: “...no no, we’re not gonna play the Enormo Dome.” “So we’re gonna play the baseball stadium?” I said, “No, that’s not gonna happen, we’re gonna play the Hampton Inn and Suites parking lot.” (large crowd reaction)
Iha: God bless the Enormo Dome, god bless them.
BC: The top! We’re going to the top.
Iha: It’s a fine hotel.
BC: Free vegan pizza, free rooms.
Iha: Heh heh heh! I didn’t know they had that.
BC: But thank you again, we’re having a good time, we hope you’re having a good time. I love this part of the show, if you can call what we do a show, because it is my opportunity to thank each and every one of you personally, for coming, for supporting us, for supporting our music for so many years.
