Spun is a 2002 black comedy crime drama film directed by Jonas Åkerlund. The original music for the film was written by Billy Corgan, performed by Djali Zwan – the acoustic incarnation of Zwan. Corgan also made a brief appearance in the film, acting as a doctor.

A standalone soundtrack was never been released, though some bootlegs have been made. Corgan has indicated that he owns the rights to the songs and intends to release a properly mixed version of the material in 2022 or beyond.[1]

Directory Jonas Åkerlund has also worked with The Smashing Pumpkins as director of the music videos for "The Everlasting Gaze" and "Try, Try, Try". The latter explores dark themes similar to Spun, and was adapted from Åkerlund's short film, Try.
